Embedding Aboriginal Storytelling in Education

This course provides a general overview of methods of Aboriginal storytelling, both traditionally and contemporarily. It offers all educators (early years, primary and secondary) an opportunity to participate in learning more about incorporating Aboriginal storytelling into programming, planning and practice.

Belinda Huntriss

Belinda Huntriss is an Aboriginal woman from Worimi country on the mid-north coast of NSW and lives on the Central Coast. Belinda is a mum, Early Childhood and Primary school teacher and is currently working as an independent consultant mentoring early childhood educators around embedding Aboriginal perspectives and building cultural safety. Her family business Freshwater Education provides culturally appropriate and environmentally sustainable resources, cultural incursions, and mentoring for educators.
